If you aren’t familiar with this miniature breed, you will be happy to know that the American Poultry Standard of Perfection has been recognizing Japanese Bantams for more than a hundred years. In fact, these bantams have a rich history with the first breeds appearing in Japan in the 1700’s. The White Japanese Bantam is notable for its white feathering and a distinct large comb. Japanese white bantams
They are beautiful, very pet friendly! Not so hardy! I lost half of my flock! I still don’t know why! I would do it again, tho!
