The Golden Sebright Bantam is a colorful variety of the Sebright Bantam breed, a true miniature chicken that was developed in England in the 1800’s. You may notice that the males of this breed do not have sickle feathers, which is just one of many unique traits that characterize these birds. Recognized by the American Poultry Standard of Perfection in 1874, this is a high-quality breed that is a great choice for anyone in search of a show chicken. They love to pose and are very spirited breed. We added some new blood line from Matt Haehn to this breed in 2011 to help bring the size down. We cannot breed them too small or they will not ship well as baby chicks. We have Golden Sebright Bantam chicks available during chick season, so place your order today.
