My chicks arrived in great shape! Of course, there were extras. I ordered 5, and got 6…only 1 rooster. He was easy to give away…so beautiful. I gave half to my sister. My two lay the darkest green eggs I have ever seen…truly olive…not just green. One of them is also speckled. My sister is SO jealous even though I let her pick the ones she got! I couldn’t be more pleased. I will order these again in the spring.

I was looking to add some color to my “egg basket” and WOW I hit the jackpot with the F2 Olive Eggers! Love the variety in the chickens and eggs. Zero complaints! Plan to buy more!

Ordered 9 (along with other birds) and received 11 of these. 1 died as a chick. 6 became roosters. The roosters were gorgeous! Kept two of them. One looks like an Araucana; the other more like a Maran. Hens began laying around 22 weeks of age — a mix of normal brown, deep olive, pale blue and green eggs. Very happy with the mix. Very happy with the appearance and demeanors of the birds. Would definitely recommend this cross-breed, but as the description suggests, the more you order ,the more variety you’ll get. If I had more space, I would like more of them.

We ordered 3 olive eggers straight run and were sent 4. 2 turned out to be hens and 2 were roosters. I wish I could attach a picture so you could see these birds. We got at least three different varieties. One rooster and one hen look like barred rocks but with some green-tinted feathers floating around. One hen definitely has cream legbar in her (cutest little crown). And the other roo is just a gorgeous mix. The hens started laying fairly early and we’re getting 2 eggs most days. Highly recommend. Cool fact: the eggs are olive on the outside but the inner shell is robin’s egg blue.

Purchased 20, received 2 extra. All arrived alive and in great condition, all made it to adulthood. Got pretty much exactly 50/50 sex ratio as expected, and decided to keep several roosters for maximum genetic diversity. They get along weirdly well for roosters and there’s been no fighting at all. Hens are a bit skittish but that doesn’t bother me. They’ve started laying and the eggs are beautiful, most are pale blue or green but I also get some gorgeous dark olive eggs and a few brown as well. I added a link to a photo, hopefully it’ll work. Any white eggs are from different chickens and not the OEs.

I ordered 25 of these babies and received a couple extra. It was much appreciated, as I’ve had some bad experiences with mail orders through other hatcheries in the past. I ordered in June and all my babies arrived chirping, happy and very strong. This was the first time I never lost a baby. Every single one of my chicks has been incredible. They are now almost a month old and I have moved them to an outdoor brooder since the summer months have been hot. They are all thriving and still very strong. I can tell that Cackle has some great, strong line of genetics here. I’ve never had such strong babies before. Thank you so much for giving me faith in a hatchery that ships again!

First time ordering and couldn’t be happier! Chicks arrived chirping and full of energy. They are eating and drinking like champs. We ordered 6 and received 7! Very satisfied and excited to find out how many hens/roosters we got. Also super egg-cited for some colored eggs!

First time ordering chicks online. Purchased 15 and received 18, all in good health. Within minutes of unpacking, they are acting spunky, eating and drinking. Hatched on Tuesday and arrived in South Florida by Friday morning.
