Description

Cackle Hatchery use’s our F1 Olive Egger hens and we cross it back with a mix of males of the Black Tailed Red Marans, Black Ameraucana and Cream Legbar. This cross will produce eggs that hatch into chicks and grow up to lay eggs that will produce a wide variety of olive egger shades and several eggs with more blue hues and chocolate hues in a class of F2 Olive Egger. We are sure you will love the Cackle Hatchery genetics we have used to produce these egg shell colors.

As always from this hatchery the chicks arrived happy and healthy. I ordered 15 f2 and received a couple extra and they grew out strong. Unfortunately I only ended up with TWO hens. I understand straight run and all but that seems excessively rooster heavy. I definitely will not be ordering more until pullet only option is available because that was a huge waste of money for me.
