    The best bantams
I ordered 10 of these in 2023 and was sent 14. Of the 14 straight run I got 7 roosters.
The rooster I did keep is an absolute sweetheart. He has never bitten me, attacked me, is very good at protecting his hens, breaking up fights and always comes to me to be held.
The hens are all extremely friendly and jockey for the best position in my lap. They are hardy and did well in -20 temps, except for my rooster who got a little frostbite. But that’s ok. They lay consistently, little pink/tan eggs that weigh between 30-34 grams on average. Two of those makes one jumbo egg! However, and maybe it’s because it’s spring and I have a rooster, but they go broody a lot. The only thing I worry about is that their white color makes them so visible to predators.

Very easy to raise. Didn’t lose any in the brooder. Very attractive bird. Easy to handle. Started to set at 6 months old.
