I received these ducks a few months ago. I have a couple of geese as well from this hatchery. In the surplus, I received a black mallard duck and a white fawn runner duck. They are awesome! They are healthy with no issues.

I am giving this a 4 star only because I have/had no idea which breeds
were sent to me. This was my first experience with ducks. They arrived health and happy. I have been able to identify my ducks I specifically ordered and to tell males from females.
I just wish there was some way to tell customers what was sent that was rare.
Thank you. You can’t go wrong with ordering from Cackle Hatchery. Ordered from them for years when I was a 4- H poultry leader.

This was my first experience with raising ducks, and it has been a delight! We got a great assortment of 4 different breeds. As always, Cackle’s birds are top notch. Thank you!

I ordered 7 Surplus Rare Ducks, and they sent me 8. I got 3 Fawn Runners, 3 Cayugas, 1 Ancona, and 1 Welsh Harlequin. All the ducklings arrived in good shape! Great assortment of ducklings. I would recommend this to anyone who likes surprises, or who can’t decide what breed of ducklings to get. I would order from Cackle again.

yay! i LOVE THEEEEEEM!!!
The fun in this is that i dont know much about the individual duck breeds, so i still have no idea what i got, even after researching it. lol. but i don’t care. i actuaully like the anticipation. they are just as happy & cuddly and fun as any, & i love having the surprise of watching them grow up & finding out what they are!!! they color-marked their faces for me, instead of having a band, which i am personally a great fan of. i did not have to worry about snipping off any rubber-bands, and just simply looked at their plumage. even before i could get them in the car, somebody wanted to have a peek, and so we temporarily opened the box so that they could see. one of them came right to her hand & did not even flinch when she petted him. he began cheeping when she stopped, as if to complain. lol. when i got them home, i found both of them to have that same docile nature about them. they ate & drank right away; & are growing like strong little weeds!
