Description
Chukar Partridge hatching egg orders need to be on a separate online order so your order can be processed properly. They cannot be shipped with any other fowl.
With a light brown back, black-striped wings and a stripe around the head, the Chukar Partridge looks a bit like a small pheasant. These birds are popular among hunters, and they may also be raised for meat or eggs. For those new to raising or keeping gamebirds, Chukar Partridges adapt well to captivity, however captive Partridges will not sit on eggs themselves. Chukar Partridges normally mate in pairs in the wild, but one male may mate with three or four females in captivity. To ensure proper processing, please order Chukar Partridges separately from any other poultry or gamebirds.
