Wonderful experience
My son wanted OEGB and we decided on this hatchery. Wonderful assortment of colors and every chick survived plus there was extra. My son was tickled and took really good care of them and they are super friendly! Will be ordering more next year.

Excellent quality
We purchased a Old English Game Bantam special this spring 2019 for our daughter to show and they turned out very nice! The birds were high quality and almost all were show quality, very nice birds for the money! Will definitely be ordering these again.

Best Chickens, Couldn’t Be More Pleased 🙂
Last year I ordered five and received six, one of which died in the feed, and three of which were roosters. We kept one of the three roosters and he’s the best rooster we’ve ever had. He’s not aggressive or possessive, but protects the hens. Whenever we have a bonfire or something loud or threatening is outside he always gathers up all of the hens and brings them inside of the coop. One of our hens would constantly escape. We couldn’t figure out how, but she did. After months of patching up suspicious looking crevasses we found that she would shimmy under the coop and out into the yard! After this problem was fixed, she went broody and actually raised the chicks. Not only is this extremely rare for this breed, but she raised them. Even hens we’ve ordered that are said to be fantastic mothers never raised chicks. Sometimes even attacked them once the hatched. My last hen is the equivalent of a pet. Every time I walk into the coop she follows me around and talks to me. I can pick her up without the hassle of chasing her around. She just lets me pick her up because she loves to be pet. Not only are their temperaments superb, but they’re easy keeper and lay a large amount of rich eggs. However, they are smaller than a table spoon, which makes sense based on their size. And are not good free rangers.

Follow up on my order
Hey Cackle Hatchery I can’t begin to explain how satisfied I am with my fifteen Old English bantams. Every morning is a joy to wake up to the sound of a tiny rooster crowing. They were born on the 3 or 4 of May and I can’t believe they are crowing already, trult a joy, thanks again to every one involved in the great hatchery you run. i am so happy I ordered fifteen more today can’t wait to get them. Thanks again. Keep up the good work.
