CONTEST RULES
$100 FOR THE PERSON TO EAT THE MOST HARDBOILED EGGS
1. Entries will be limited to the first 15 contestants.
2. Contestants must be at least 18 years of age.
3. All contestants must be registered and checked in at the Building C (Clifton’s Westside Café) by 2:45p.m. on Friday October 7th or 2:45 p.m. on Saturday October 8th.
4. The object is to eat as many Hard-Boiled Eggs with water as the only beverage. Water will be provided to all contestants.
5. Each contestant will be given ten Hard Boiled Eggs to start.
6. Contestants will wait for the signal to start and a stopwatch will be used.
7. The allotted time is eight (8) minutes.
8. Dunking and crushing the Hard-Boiled Eggs is allowed.
9. Separating the yolk from the whites to eat them individually is allowed.
10. Contestants must not touch any Hard-Boiled Eggs until the starting signal.
11. Winner will be determined by whomever finishes within the best time OR whomever has eaten the most Hard-Boiled Eggs within the allotted time.
12. The judges will determine the winner of the contest not the participants & the judges’ decision will be final.
13. Any contestant caught breaking any of the above rules will be disqualified.
14. The first place winner is not allowed to compete both days.
*All applicants must be 18 years of age or older and fully acknowledge and understand the inherent dangers and risks associated with participating in an eating contest. The applicant further
acknowledges and understands that the Cackle Hatchery coordinates with event sponsor(s) to select and approve eligible participants, and that the Cackle Hatchery shall decide, at its sole discretion, whether an applicant is eligible to participate in any eating event, and/or related activities. The Cackle Hatchery may revoke an applicant’s eligibility to participate in the eating contest, or related activities, at any time, for any reason, at its sole discretion. The Cackle Hatchery and the event sponsors reserve the right, at any time, to change any and all details concerning the event, including, e.g., time, duration, location and prize structure.
