The Quail Belgium D'Anver Bantam chicken  is another one of the true bantams there is no standard size of the breed. There are nine color varieties of the breed, Cackle Hatchery has the Quail Belgium D'anver Bantam Chicken color variety and is the most popular color. They are a very active breed and do well at shows. The males can be very aggressive toward other birds.

Recognized by the American Poultry Standard of Perfection in 1949.  Bred for many years in Continental Europe and England and now a very popular show chicken in the USA.
